Day 12: Bert

I would like to begin a little different than usual. One of our cats has stopped eating and drinking, a very old cat, and probally has a few days left to live. (And the soil is frozen so it will be hard to bury to.) It was a hobo-cat that we managed to pick up and get back into proper health in a parking lot somewhere, and the previous owner didn't care enough to call us about it either so we kept it. It kind of became my cat and was always near me, to the point that it would start moaning if i wasn't at home.
Let this little text be in the honor of Bert, the hobo cat.

Speaking of soil, i should get some soil for Pestilence when it's warmer outside. Just a little.

The green is actually dark green, but the flash kind of ruins the picture for that. The lightbulb in my room died today, so, yep, lots of flash.
As you can see, the green horde is taking over the rest of the jar, and consuming all in it's path. So i added a little obstacle, ashes, and a tiny new... how do you call it, peel? Of orange to see how fast the fungi would spread to it. And is it just me or it growing on the walls?

So i spit on it and a smoke cloud of spores released, so i might want to stop doing that.
You see the fluid that gathered in the bottom-right corner? That's bad isn't it? Now look at the lid:

If it goes on like this i'll have to rename Pestilence to Soup, damn, even my IT class has less "sweaty" fluids all over the place, and that's saying something.

I checked up on failsafe to, but nothing's really happening in that pot. I didn't expect anything to happen in there anyway, since it is like powdered napalm, but who knows what i can manage to rot these days.

  1. Put Bert into Soup or Nurgle, he will live forever!

  2. I am deeply sorry about your loss.

But do you not worry that the exposure to the mold may have played a role in Bert's death? Then again, if Shoggoth didn't kill him, why Pestilence/Nurgle/Soup?

  3. Nah, Bert is just really, really old. And has lived on the street for we don't know how long so rotten things shouldn't be a problem.

  4. That's sad. I love my cat and would be so depressed if he died :C.

Any updates with soup or is it still just a skin of white crap?

  5. I'm sorry about your kitty. My cat was the reason I went vegetarian, myself. She's annoying, gets in the way, and we're pretty sure that she's actually mentally retarded. But I love her. Sorry :(
