Well i didn't expect that. For a liquid based mold that did grow quite fast. And it's one pure breed and not four different colors to, it's kind of pretty, especially when you slightly tilt the container a bit to the side so that it slowly glides down. The liquid is becoming thicker to, it seems to "move slower."
And to think that this was just a little solid chunk of mass yesterday.
We shall move on!
A WILD NURGLE APPEARS!
You know it actually took me 11 times to get this picture right, i think the camera can't really handle the black/white contrast and the loads of detail anymore. It's nice and funny in a way, but i still want to be able to take photos. And i can't even see that other sausage anymore.
It's kind of odd how fast Nurgle is growing, even though i named him after the god of rot and decay, compared to, well, all my other pots of mold ever?
"Meat was the secret ingredient all along thijs!"
That, or keeping it out of the light.
I also noticed something pretty;
(Picture attempt count: 7)
You can't really see it right on the picture, but there's a nearly perfect ball of white fuzz sticking out there. I tried taking a better picture, but most of them sadly were blurry to. Let's hope it will become even rounder and bigger.
I'd like you to know that I've known about this since the start of Shoggoth, and it's hard to believe that I've had this bookmarked for so long. I checked Shoggoth every now and then after the experiment came to an end, and I saw an occasional post. My eyes lit up awhile ago when I saw the "Whoops how did this get here" link and I'm happy you're doing this again.
ReplyDeleteI know it takes up some of your time, so I'd like you to know that I'm another very appreciative person. Keep updating :D
I have to agree with the Anon above me, even though I found Shoggoth ~day 100.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteHa, no problem guys, it's fun to do ;)
